Stimulating. Invigorating. Revitalizing.
Ideal if you are feeling sluggish, sleepy or in need a lift - Yunnan Peak is extremely invigorating. A good choice for clearing a head-fog or hang-over and after a heavy, greasy meal. Avoid drinking before bedtime and on an empty stomach.
|Origin||Yunnan Peak is an organic, wild-harvested raw (sheng) pu-erh produced by a fairtrade tea cooperative in Yunnan, Southern China. Leaves are plucked from wild tea trees standing over 20 feet tall in old-growth forests and processed by hand.|
|Quantity||40g (36p per serving)|
Yunnan Peak should be ‘washed’ i.e. a first quick infusion of five seconds should be discarded as this will ‘open’ the tea and allow the leaves to release their full flavour for the subsequent infusions.
The traditional way to make living tea is to use a small pot with a generous amount of leaves. The leaves are then used for multiple, short infusions. Living tea made this way brings out all of its taste, vibrancy and complexity.
